Streetman Homes has built two types of homes in Mueller Austin so far. They were responsible for the largest homes in the neighborhood in the first two phases (aside from the Custom Homes), on Tom Miller & Scales Streets, as well as the 16 Flex Homes built along Berkman Drive in 2009.
In Section 6 Streetman is building Courtyard Row Homes – a new style for Mueller – typical style Row Homes, market rate as well as in the affordable program, which will be a first for Streetman.
They will be moving into their construction trailer in just a few short weeks and will begin construction on their new homes around mid-October. There will be a Courtyard Row Home Model at the corner of Berkman & McBee, which is where they will start construction. Very exciting to have a new model home in the neighborhood to tour! To clarify for those of you who might be confused like I was initially, the courtyard is formed by the actual footprint of the home; this is different from the garden court style homes we’ve seen in Mueller so far, where the courtyard is formed by a number of homes that surround a grassy area. The pricing will be around $340s – $420s for 1900-2200 square feet. I have been told that the finish out will be higher end and have similarities to the Artisan Series homes they built on the 55′ wide lots in the first two phases.
The Row Homes that Streetman will start building along Mattie Street, across from the Town Center, are the same floor plans as the Flex Homes on Berkman (between Antone & McCloskey) – the Cambridge, the Berkley, the New Haven – however, they will have different elevations. The sizes range from 1700 – 1950 square feet and pricing will fall around $290s – $320s. Mind you, all the pricing published by builders now is introductory; the total will go up as you make selections and upgrade your home from what is offered with the standard package.
